QUALITY & VERIFICATION

Verification for the material prepared for your order

Manufacturer documentation establishes what a product should be; order-specific verification helps establish what the actual material prepared for shipment is.

Product Truth

Manufacturer or OEM evidence supports what the product is: its identity, technical facts and applicable conditions.

Lot-Specific Evidence

YOSHI inspection and pre-shipment evidence can help establish what the actual material prepared for an order is. It does not replace manufacturer technical evidence.

1. Exact Product Verification

Depending on the product and order scope, verification may include:

  • MPN / Legacy OPN
  • NVIDIA SKU
  • PSID
  • OEM PN
  • Configuration
  • Revision where relevant

2. Physical Inspection

For network adapters, inspection may include the PCB, PCIe contacts, ports, bracket, labels, heatsink and visible physical damage.

For switches, inspection may include the chassis, ports, PSU, fans, airflow configuration, labels and overall physical condition.

3. Functional Verification

Depending on the product, customer requirements and available test environment, verification may include host or device detection, power-on, firmware or PSID review, port-link verification and system-health checks.

Verification scope varies by product, configuration, customer requirements and available test environment. Additional or third-party laboratory testing may be arranged where required, agreed and available.

4. Lot-Specific Pre-Shipment Evidence

Official manufacturer evidence establishes durable product facts. Depending on the product and agreed verification scope, YOSHI can additionally provide order-specific evidence for the actual material being prepared for shipment.

This may include actual product and label photos, physical condition, date code, country of origin or revision where applicable, PSID or firmware where checked, serial-number records where required, inspection results, functional verification screenshots or results where performed, and packing photos.

Such evidence applies only to the relevant material and agreed scope; historical photographs do not establish current stock.

5. State Order-Specific Requirements Early

If a purchase requires a specific date code, country of origin, hardware revision, configuration, packaging condition, serial-number record, inspection documentation or functional verification scope, state the requirement before order confirmation.

6. Traceability

Available documentation and traceability vary by product, lot and supply route. Relevant labels, packaging information, photographs and available documentation may be reviewed where applicable.
